Boost your editing skills in 2019 with Editors SA!

Posted on: 23 January 2019

Want to enhance your editing skills in 2019? Ready to start planning your professional development activities? This year Editors SA has put together a packed calendar, covering topics from "Science editing" and "Working with clients - explaining editing decisions" in February to "Setting up your own editing business" in April and "Using social media" in November. The Writers' Week breakfast (Saturday 2 March) will be back too, along with our hit "Members helping members" workshop day in May. And there's more still to come!

This year we're experimenting with some different formats and times for professional development events, including online meetings via Zoom and weekday lunchtime events, in addition to our regular weeknight meetings and weekend events, so keep and eye out - there's sure to be a time and format that suits you. Event dates and new additions to the calendar will be advertised via ...the word newsletter (for members), the IPEd website, Facebook and Twitter, so follow us there to keep up to date.

And remember, if you have ideas for a professional development event or would like to present one yourself, get in touch with John Liddle at edsa.profdev@iped-editors.org to suggest it!
